The Art Center of the Bluegrass is facilitating a community exploration of mosaics this fall, thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
Artist Tracy Pennington from Louisville is working with students at the Kentucky School for the Deaf to design and create a mosaic installation that will be installed on the Fourth Street entrance ramp to the Art Center.
Pennington visited KSD for three workshops in late October and early September, and will incorporate the individual student pieces into the larger work, which will be installed in early November.
