Gov. Matt Bevin will be in Danville tomorrow to make an announcement about funding for a transportation project.

Bevin is scheduled to appear at the Boyle County Courthouse at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 4. It is the third “transportation announcement” he will be making that day, according to a media advisory from Bevin’s office.

Judge-Executive Howard Hunt said earlier he knew Bevin would be visiting Boyle County to make an announcement, but “I am uninformed as to any of the details to it.”

“I don’t know what will be said and I doubt that it will take very long to say it, but I hope that it will be good news for all of Boyle County,” Hunt said. “I will be as surprised with whatever is said as everyone else in the room.”

Bevin is scheduled to participate in a community forum in Shepherdsville at 7:30 a.m. Then, he plans to make transportation announcements at 9 a.m. in Shepherdsville, at 2:45 p.m. in Nicholasville and at 4:15 p.m. in Danville.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet was unable to provide any further details on what would be announced.
