Lawhorn Electric is waiting for the handhole covers that the Canadian supplier forgot to ship with the new light posts. When they arrive Lawhorn Electric will finish the installation and energize the lamps.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and Allen Construction completed their milling and paving from Argyll on Maple Avenue and to First Street on Main Street.

Crews will continue to improve the traffic signals as well as the beginning of construction on the new firehouse next to City Hall. Motorists and pedestrians should continue to be cautious in the area as they pass through. The remaining work should be less intrusive to traffic.
