Members of the Garden Club of Danville spent a lively afternoon at the November meeting making holiday decorations. Beth Leahey and Janis Scott led the group in creating arrangements suitable for kitchen countertops and small tables by filling mugs with fresh greens and fall flowers. Beth Leahey provided refreshments and door prizes.

Martha Caywood displays the decoration she made using plant materials brought to the meeting by members. The Garden Club is now planning decorations and refreshments for its 55th open house and Green Tea at the McDowell House Museum on Dec. 8.
