Teddy Adkins

1937-2019

Teddy Adkins, 82, passed away Wednesday December 11, 2019. He was born September 23, 1937 in Gravel Switch, a son of the late Aleck and Lillian Strange Adkins. He was married 55 years to his wife, Marie Adkins.

Teddy served his Country in the United States Air Force and attended Mitchellsburg Baptist Church and served as a guard at Northpoint Training Center. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports. Teddy can also be found in Boyle County High Schools Hall of Fame for Football. He especially cherished his Dog, Digger

Survivors in addition to his wife, Marie, are step-son, Bobby Brady, sister, Callie Inman, and special caregiver and niece, Pam Noel, niece, Bonnie Manning.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers, a sister, and a step-son, Ricky Brady.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Brother Brett Benton officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.

Pallbearers will be Terry Adkins, Norman Inman, Bobby Brady, J.T. Summers, Jacob Summers, and Nick Engel.
