Larry Gene Harkness

1965-2020

Larry Gene Harkness, 54, died on Monday, January 6, 2020 at U of K Medical Center in Lexington. He was born on July 22, 1965, a member of Grace Deaf Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Kentucky School for the Deaf on May 1985 and where he was secretary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peggy Arnold Janes and Gene Harkness; and an uncle, Larry Thomas Janes.

He is survived by an aunt, Geraldine Janes Johnson; an uncle, Jerry (Joy) Janes, numerous cousins, Steven and Lori Johnson, Kimberly and Dale Reliford, Stacy and Buddy McGrahnana; and friends.

His memorial service will be at 4:00 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2020 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Hamilton will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 till 4 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2020 at Barlow Funeral Home.
