Boyle County Schools name ‘Best of Boyle’ winners

Boyle County Schools has named its “Best of Boyle,” or teachers and employees of the year.
The teachers come from each school, while the employees can come from any school or other part of the district. The winning teachers also are submitted for the Kentucky Teacher of the Year.
Teachers of the Year:
- The winner from Boyle County High School is special education teacher Jameson DeBord. He has been with the district three and a half years.
- The winner from Boyle County Middle School is seventh-grade science teacher Mary Rush. She has been with the district four and a half years.
- The winner from Junction City Elementary School is speech therapist Andrea Ball. She has been with the district nine and a half years.
- The winner from Perryville Elementary School is first-grade teacher Kendra Helm. She has been with the district 14 and a half years.
- The winner from Woodlawn Elementary School is special education teacher Kelly Karnes. She has been with the district 13 and a half years.
Employees of the Year:
- Tori Pruitt works in the Boyle County Middle School office and is the receptionist. She has been with the district two and a half years.
- Tammy Williams works at Junction City Elementary School as the attendance clerk. She has been with the district four and a half years.
- Jaime Kendrick works in the Boyle County Schools bus garage as the interim transportation manager. She has been with the district three and a half years.
