Pets of the week

Our featured pets for this week are Della and Sierra.
Della is a pretty 3-year-old tabby that was found as a stray and brought to the humane society in early January. She is a friendly girl with gorgeous emerald-colored eyes. Della is a quiet and mannerly kitty. She is happy to receive attention but is not demanding or pushy. Della recently moved into one of our kitty condos, sharing space with other cats. She likes to stroll through her little kingdom like a princess checking on her subjects. Della is up to date on all her vetting and is ready to settle into her forever castle so come for a visit and see if she is your purrfect match.
Sierra is a cute 1-year-old Beagle mix. She was a stray that was found in a busy area of town. Fortunately, a caring citizen brought her to the humane society so she would be safe. Sierra is mostly white with pretty brown markings on her face and ears. She is rather fined-boned and weighs less than 25 pounds. This little gal has a friendly demeanor and happily trots along on the leash. Sierra is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. She is ready to make her lucky adopter a wonderful forever friend.
This Friday is Valentine’s Day, the perfect time to adopt a pet. Even if you already have a special Valentine, adopting a dog or kitty will give you a fresh opportunity to fall in love again. You will make a new friend and have a loyal everyday companion. Rescue a homeless pet and you will probably find that your new four-legged buddy is the one who has rescued you! So why not celebrate Valentine’s Day by adding the love of a sweet feline or canine companion to your family.
