The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), advises that the plan for the US 150 bridge is progressing.  The project location is in Perryville, Boyle County. KYTC engineers have been working closely with local officials to address concerns with regard to the closing of the US 68/150 bridge during construction.

The plan during the project includes a 10 foot lane for crossing with temporary signals in place. US 68/US 150/West Second Street will remain open for both east, and westbound traffic. A detour will also be in place for the traveling public. Emergency vehicles, and local traffic will be able to navigate the closure, and cross the bridge.

The environmental review is underway which addresses potential historic impacts. The authorization for utility, and construction funding is anticipated after June 2020. To minimize congestion, construction is planned for summer 2021.  Work will be in effect with school out of session.

The community, and traveling public will be informed through construction updates furnished to media outlets. The updates will include changes, and impacts to traffic patterns.
