The Lincoln County High School Science Department donated their medical supplies to the local hospital recently to help them out during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

T.J .Rayhill got the idea from an AP biology Facebook group that he’s part of. Rayhill pitched the idea to Diana Lane and his coworkers. They all agreed it was a great way to help out since it would potentially benefit our students and community more at the hospital than sitting in the empty school.

Lane ran the idea by Principal Mike Godbey and he was all for it. The staff went by the school Saturday evening and gathered plastic gloves, rubbing alcohol, alcohol swabs and masks and delivered them to the hospital.

A big thanks goes out to our staff members for being community minded and for donating. The department staff includes Rayhill, Lane, Kayde Gilbert, Shane Akers, Lydia Tiller and Jonathon Rogers
