Ephraim McDowell Health continues to work closely with national, state and local leaders to ensure that we are properly responding to the needs of our patients and Associates as it relates to COVID-19.
- Facilities temporarily adjusting hours of operation
Effective March 30, Ephraim McDowell Diagnostic Center and Ephraim McDowell Women’s Breast & Health Center will be temporarily adjusting their hours of operation to 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center further restricting OB visitation
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ephraim McDowell Health is taking steps to further protect the health and safety of families who deliver babies at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. In consultation with physicians, it has been decided that the support person who accompanies a laboring woman to the hospital will have to remain inside the Labor & Delivery Unit until the mother and baby are discharged. Meals will be provided to the support person during their stay.
