Don Hubbard

1939-2020

Don Hubbard, 81, of Waynesburg, KY passed away at home on Monday, April 27, 2020. Born on January 2, 1939 in Lincoln County to the late Arvil Hubbard and Goldie Bryant Hubbard. Don worked in a factory for most of his life. He later owned and operated Hubbard’s Hardware in Waynesburg, KY for 20 years. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Peggy Anderson Hubbard of Waynesburg, KY; two daughters, Pam Daulton of Nancy, KY and Sharon Martin (Mike) of Waynesburg, KY; one sister, Leola Caudill of Waynesburg, KY; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Carroll Boatwright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Danny Hubbard; one brother, Darryl Hubbard; and three sisters, Lockie Salyers, Dorothy Mullins and Ruth Caudill.

Due to Covid-19, A Private Family Service has been scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Waynesburg, KY.

Pallbearers are Christopher Hubbard, Jason Brewer, George Floyd, Ezekiel Nantz, Derek Martin and Eric Caudill.
