VIDEO – St. Mildreds Court residents chime in for Kentucky

Each morning at 10 a.m., residents of St. Mildreds Court in Danville make their way to the sidewalks in front of their homes. They gather and ring bells to let others know they are not alone during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The neighborhood project began, according to Gene Carpenter, following the suggestion by Gov. Andy Beshear that Kentucky churches ring their bells each morning for the same reason.
Residents say they plan to conduct the daily ringing as long as they can, and they hope to continue as long as the pandemic endures.
