Denise was a 1976 graduate and homecoming queen of Danville High School. She has been a lifelong member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. She was one of the first female Fiber Optic Splicer in the telecommunication field.

She worked as a waitress at Cue on Main, the 19th Hole, Cousins and Eddie Montgomery’s Steak House. Denise loved being at the farm with her husband, Danny, and enjoyed everything about the farm.

She was a talented drummer, guitar, piano player and trumpeter. She loved to paint with watercolors and happily shared them with everyone, or she could put up a ceiling fan, garden, can and was a great cook on a wood burning stove. There wasn’t anything Denise couldn’t do or try. She spent much of her Mother’s last years as one of her caregivers.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Danny Moody; a son, Jason (Ashley) Moody; a brother, Gil (Missy) Brewsaugh; two sisters, Debbie (Jim) Reynierson and Darlene (John) Lovejoy and her grandchild, Case Moody.
