Brent Martin Westerfield

1958-2020

Brent Martin Westerfield, 61, passed away on May 8, 2020, at his home in Richmond, TX after a valiant battle with cancer and COPD. He was born in Lexington, KY on June 2, 1958 to the late Jimmie Martin Westerfield and William S. Westerfield, Jr. 

In addition to his parents, Brent was predeceased by brother, James S. Westerfield and nephew, Richard M. Stepp. Brent leaves to mourn him, siblings Sherron Westerfield, William H. Westerfield, and Logan Westerfield; as well as life-long friend Terry Litchfield, nephew William M. Westerfield, great-nephew William P. Westerfield, and great-niece Madeline Mae Westerfield. Brent was a 7th generation Kentuckian, whose Westerfield ancestors were among the builders of the Old Mud Meeting House in Harrodsburg. 

Burial will be in the family plot in Lexington, KY. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, KY handling arrangements.
