Boyle County indictments, Aug. 4, 2020

The following people were indicted by a Boyle County grand jury on July 22:

  • Richard Schmiers, 39, Liberty: second-degree escape by failing to return to the Boyle County Detention Center as ordered by a judge. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Casey McCoy with the  Boyle County Sheriff’s Office testified.
  • Kelsey Shelton, 26, Stanford: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for an arraignment. Bail was set at $5,000. Kari Wilson testified for the Commonwealth.
  • Jordon Shoemaker, 30, Danville: first-degree robbery by using or threatening to use force while armed with a firearm while committing a theft. Bail was set at $20,000. Paul Megilligan with the Danville Police Department testified.
  • Shane Sinkhorn, 43, Junction City: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Keith Addison with the DPD testified.

• Ernest Slaven, 51, Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth, second offense. Bail was set at 10% of $20,000. TJ Wren with the BCSO testified.

  • Chelsea Slone, 26, Burgin: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Damon Stevens with the Kentucky State Police testified.
  • Noah Smith, 22, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Tanner Abbott with the BCSO testified.
  • Thomas Smith Jr., 29, Lebanon: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Addison testified.
  • Floyd Stevens, 53, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, syringes. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Abbott testified.
  • Mark Stinnett, 29, Harrodsburg: first-degree promoting contraband into the Boyle County Detention Center; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; third-degree burglary by unlawfully entering Walmart; theft by unlawful taking of merchandise valued less than $500. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Ashleigh Koch with the DPD testified.
  • Melanie Terry, 44, Junction City: first-degree unlawful access to a computer for obtaining money or property for herself. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000. Kevin Peel with the DPD testified.
  • Chad Warren, 25, Danville: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Megilligan testified.
  • Eldon Washington, 34, Danville: two counts first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth and fentanyl, second offense; first-degree fleeing or evading police on foot. Bail was set at 10% of $20,000. Casey McCoy with the BCSO testified.
  • John Washington, 66, Danville: first-degree wanton endangerment by shooting a firearm in the direction of a female; second-degree criminal mischief by causing more than $500 worth of damage to her property; third-degree terroristic threatening, by threatening to kill the female. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Jacob Ruhe with the BCSO testified.
  • Aiden Wells, 24, Danville: three counts first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, two for heroin and one for meth. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000 and Megilligan testified. 
  • Eli Wells, 31, Danville: three counts trafficking a controlled substance, heroin and meth. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000 and Megillian testified. First-degree possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl; DUI; driving with expired or no Kentucky registration plates; driving with no or expired Kentucky registration receipt. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Daylen Morris with DPD testified.
  • Erin Wells, 40, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, a syringe; driving on suspended license; driving without liability insurance. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Addison testified.
  • David Whitehouse, 35, Danville: two counts first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth and fentanyl. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000 and Megilligan testified.
  • Nicholas Wilburn, 41, Junction City: trafficking a controlled substance, fentanyl; possession of drug paraphernalia, a syringe; theft by unlawful taking of merchandise valued less than $500 at Walmart. Bail was set at 10% of $20,000. Brandon Jewell with the DPD testified.
  • James Wilcher, 35, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Wren testified.
  • Clarrisa Yankey, 30, Danville: two counts first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, fentanyl and meth; first-degree promoting contraband into the jail. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000 and Abbott testified.
  • Christopher Heath, 47, Louisville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia, scales; driving without liability insurance. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Abbott testified.
  • Ashley Hicks, 27, Lawrenceburg: first-degree promoting contraband into the jail. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Akio Tonge with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.
  • Woodie Himes, 73, Lancaster: third-degree arson by intentionally starting a fire to burn a building. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Megilligan testified.
  • Austin Howell, 34, Harrodsburg: first-degree fleeing or evading police in a vehicle; first-degree wanton endangerment; first-degree criminal mischief by causing more than $1,000 of damages; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl; possession of drug paraphernalia, a syringe; resisting arrest; driving without liability insurance. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Abbott testified.
  • Jami Johnson, 43, Perryville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Morris testified.
  • Justin Lankford, 36, Junction City: manufacturing meth by possession two or more items used for manufacturing; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, a syringe; first-degree criminal trespassing by entering a house. Bail was set at 10% of $20,000. Nathan Brown with the DPD testified.
  • Megan Locker, 26, Danville: first-degree robbery by using or threatening to use force while armed with a firearm while committing a theft from a male victim. Bail was set at $20,000 and Megilligan testified.
  • Meghan Madden, 27, Stanford: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, heroin; sell or transfer simulated controlled substance. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000 and Megilligan testified. Possession of a controlled substance, heroin. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Megilligan testified.
  • Donald Miller, 41, Wilmore: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Jacob Farley with DPD testified.

  • Maryann Rison, 43, Danville: third-degree by unlawfully entering Walmart; theft by unlawful taking of merchandise valued less than $500 from Walmart. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Norman Lawrence with Walmart Loss Prevention testified.
  • Michael Rogers-Lamb, 30, Lancaster: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, a syringe; resisting arrest. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Addison testified. First-degree criminal trespassing by entering a home; second-degree fleeing or evading police on foot. Bail was set at 10% of $2,000.
  • Jody Grubbs, 35, Junction City: first-degree criminal facilitation to traffic a controlled substance, meth; criminal facilitation to traffic marijuana. Bail was set at 10% of $2,000. Kyle Lyons with the BCSO testified.
  • Phillip Hoskins, 69, Danville: second-degree wanton endangerment by pointing a firearm at a male victim; third-degree terroristic threatening; second-degree disorderly conduct by fighting in a public place. Bail was set at 10% of $2,000.
  • Chad Adams, 48, Danville: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance second offense, meth. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000 and McCoy testified.
  • Aileen Berry, 28, Louisville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, a scale. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Abbott testified.
  • Chelsea Boures, 26, Danville: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, cocaine; possession of drug paraphernalia, scales. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Lewis testified.
  • Chad Boyd, 38, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, hydrocodone; unauthorized use of a vehicle. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and McCoy testified.
  • Shaunda Brown, 41, Hustonville: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth; first-degree promoting contraband into the jail. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000. Michael Clem with the BCDC testified.
  • David Bruner, 53, Harrodsburg: second-degree escape by failing to return to the jail as ordered by a judge, persistent felony offender. Bail was set at 10% of $20,000. Wes Gaddis with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.
  • Alec Camden, 27, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Wren testified.
  • Trintian Cannon, 21, Lancaster: first-degree robbery by threatening force while armed with a firearm. Bail was set at $20,000 and Megillian testified.
  • Alfred Cassidy, 51, Danville: three counts third degree assault upon three deputies by kicking, attempting to harm and striking one with a pepper ball launcher. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Clem testified.
  • Calvin Chesser, 51, Willisburg: possession of synthetic drugs, second offense; possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe; DUI. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Wren testified.
  • Amy Cook, 33, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Addison testified.
  • Curtis Cook, 43, Stanford: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; driving on suspended license; driving without liability insurance. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Addison testified.
  • Jessica Crawley, 31, Lexington: first-degree promoting contraband into the jail. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. David Lewis with the DPD testified.
  • Evan Daly, 51, Parksville: two counts first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth and hydrocodone; possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Abbott testified.
  • Jarod Douglas, 28, Junction City: possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000. TJ Wren with the BCSO testified.
  • Erika Drury, 30, Harrodsburg: DUI fourth or more offense; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; driving on DUI suspended license. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000. Brandon Record with the DPD testified.
  • Joseph Edwards, 30, Danville: theft by failure to make required disposition when he took between $500 and $10,000 from the victims for materials and labor for a construction job that he didn’t work on and used the money for himself. Bail was set at 10% of $5,000 and Megilligan testified.
  • Bradley Elder, 42, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth, second offense. Bail was set at 10% of $10,000 and McCoy testified.
