Students collect food for the needy
The Boyle County High School National Honor Society recently conducted a food drive at Kroger collecting rice and beans for Centro Latino and nonperishable food items for New Hope Food Pantry. The students collected more than $1,200 worth of groceries. Students participating include Matthew Britt, Madison Craig, Edie Clark, Jack Lynch, Zoey Robbins, Emily Stiltner, Leticia Andrade, McKenna James, Tiffany Couch, and Maggie Smith. Although they were not able to attend the collection event due to COVID safety, Avery England and Logan Kirkland also participated by making posters and flyers for the event.
