Ringing in the holidays

Salvation Army Lieutenants Lindsey and Roger Galabeas officially kick off the annual Red Kettle Drive Wednesday morning in front of Hobby Lobby by singing Christmas carols and offering the public hot chocolate. This year’s goal is to raise $100,000, said Lindsey Galabeas. There are also plenty of opportunities for anyone from the public to help the Salvation Army by rining bells, especially on Saturdays between now and Christmas Eve. To sign up to ring the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive, call (859) 236-4473. – Photo by Robin Hart
