Knights of Columbus to conduct mail-in Tootsie Roll drive

Published 2:49 pm Monday, December 7, 2020

The COVID-19 Pandemic is having another negative impact. Every year the Knights of Columbus and the Kentucky Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities holds a Tootsie Roll drive to collect funds for organizations that provide services to persons with intellectual disabilities. There is no good way to collect donations or distribute candy under the protocols established to counter the pandemic. At the same time, it is important to have a collection to support local and statewide programs. Eighty percent of the money collected by K of C Council 6317 will be distributed in Boyle County. We have decided to have a mail drive this year. Anyone wishing to help us can mail a donation to the K of C Council 6317, P O Box 1052, Danville, KY 40423 on or before Dec. 14. Please put Tootsie Roll on the memo line. We will find another use for the Tootsie Rolls. Thank you for any help you can give us in supporting this program.
