I was glad to see that Congressman Brett Guthrie and Attorney General David Cameron did not join the Texas lawsuit that is trying to overturn the election. Mitt Romney rightly called this suit “madness,” an undemocratic attempt to overthrow a valid election.

When more than 100 other Republican Members of Congress, and 18 other Republican Attorneys General, joined this attempted coup, our Representative and AG did not. I do not often get to praise the actions of Republican elected officials these days, so I want to note the occasion today. I only wish they would have the courage to publicly acknowledge that President-Elect Biden won the election.
