Work for transparent elections
In order to further secure free and transparent elections and protect our democracy, I urge readers to contact the chair, Shana Broussard, Federal Election Commission, was 1050 First Street, N, Washington D.C. 20463 asking them to implement the following items.
1.Clarify on-ad disclaimer requirements for digital political ads so the public knows who is paying for the ads to influence their vote.
2.Explain how the ban on personal use of campaign funds applies even after a candidate is no longer running for office.
3. Clarify that the ban on personal use of campaign funds applies to politicians’ leadership pacs
