Caring Friends have Valentine’s Day event
More than 34 Caring Friends participated in this year’s Valentine’s Day drive-thru event that was rescheduled later in the month. Each individual “social distanced” from their vehicle and were handed a free boxed lunch from Lee’s Famous Recipe and a bright red gift bag from the South District Baptist Association. Drive-thru events have become a way to hold events while maintaining social distancing during the pandemic. A good time of fellowship was enjoyed by all.
The next Caring Friends drive-thru will be Sunday April 11 from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church, in Danville.
