Walker’s Trail Senior Living, a Trilogy Senior Living Community located at 100 Davco Drive, is pleased to announce the grand opening of their dedicated Memory Care neighborhood, Legacy Lane.

On the Legacy Lane, seniors with Alzheimer’s diseases or other forms of dementia can receive compassionate clinical care that caters to their unique needs and abilities, provided by caregivers who are trained to be patient, compassionate, and a best friend to those they serve. Every employee in the Legacy Lane receives extensive training in Trilogy’s BFF Program, which is inspired by the Best Friends™ Approach to Dementia Care pioneered by David Troxel and Virginia Bell. Through the BFF Program, team members learn to rely on the life stories of their residents, and to use their knowledge of their occupations, dreams, likes and dislikes to fill their days with meaningful moments of joy.
