Pearl Lorene Leach Brown “Poogie”

Pearl Lorene Leach Brown “Poogie”, 94, of Hustonville went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Born September 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George Beckham and Essie Myers Leach. Poogie was a member of Slate Hill United Methodist Church. She loved to crochet, especially baby items and toys. While able, she enjoyed gardening and raising her flowers. She was a typical farmer’s wife.She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Herman Brown; son, Norman Dale Brown; grandson, Shane Brown; and sister, Roberta McWhorter Russell. Survivors include her daughter, Vickie (Michael E.) Crowe of Hustonville; grandchildren: Shannon Dale (Jennifer) Brown of Moreland; great grandchildren: Dalis Taylor and Shane Brown; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation is 5:30-8:30 pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service is 11 am, Saturday with Rev. Howard Godby officiating. Pallbearers are Shannon Brown, Linville Brown, Marshall Carrier, Cole Carrier, Cam Carrier, and Shane Hoseclaw. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. A guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
