Church to have yard sale

Danville First Church of God, 3220 Harrodsburg Road, Danville will have an indoor yard sale Friday and Saturday  May 21 and 22 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the youth ministry. The Ladies’ Ministry will have concessions for sale from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and the proceeds will benefit their mission projects.

Caring Friends Hope and Help Ministry to meet in-person

The South District Baptist Association Caring Friends Hope and Help Ministry is excited to announce their first in-person event outdoors.

They will meet on Friday, May 28 at Constitution Square in Danville from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. A boxed lunch and drinks will be provided as well as a gift bag. Cash donations will be accepted.

A Service of Remembrance will be held to honor deceased spouses and other family members. Everyone is encouraged to bring a picture of their loved one. There will be a balloon release in memory and honor of each one. Their name will be written on a small tag attached to the balloon string.
