Boyle Fire Dept. Meeting
Boyle County Fire Department Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at 6 p.m. at the Boyle County Fire Department Headquarters (1500 Lebanon Road, Danville, KY). During the August Board meeting, the BCFD Board Members elected to conduct monthly meetings on Wednesday nights through December 2021 due to conflicting schedules of some board members.

Annual mum sale
CASA of the Bluegrass is having its annual mum sale, and orders will be taken until Sept. 22. Contributors can expect to be contacted by email or text for pick up Sept. 30 to Oct. 1. As CASA of the Bluegrass continues to support abused and neglected children, purchasing flowers or simply donating only scratches the surface. Not too late to get Garden Club of Danville mums
It’s time for colorful fall chrysanthemums. The Garden Club of Danville is selling mums in red, yellow, white, lavender, or bronze. Pots are $10 each. Pre-orders needed to be placed by Sept. 20 to guarantee color choice on the day of delivery, Sept. 24. Mums will also be available as long as they last on Friday, Sept. 24, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Constitution Square, on the corner of Main and Second Streets in downtown Danville. Proceeds of the flower sale go toward the Garden Club’s many projects benefiting the community. Friday, Sept. 24
Inaugural fundraiser and celebration
Heart of Danville
Heart of Danville is hosting its inaugural fundraiser and celebration of great American music and cocktails to help support its efforts to enhance, promote, and preserve Downtown Danville, a national Main Street community. Attendees may spread out a picnic blanket or reserve a table (tables sold out) at historic Constitution Square while listening to an evening of live music by Bourbon Revival and sipping bourbon cocktails from our exclusive bourbon provider, Wilderness Trail Distillery. Refreshing non-alcoholic mocktails will be provided by Boyle County Cooperative Extension Services.
