Willie “Bill” Varner Mullins

1971 – 2021

Willie “Bill” Varner Mullins, 49 of Crab Orchard passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Roxanne (Coots) Mullins whom he married on November 3, 1995. Bill was born in Lancaster, Kentucky on November 14, 1971 to the late Willie “Peanut” and Marie (Martin) Mullins. He was a self employed flooring installer having worked for Howard Carpenter. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoyed reading the bible. Bill had received his an associates degree at the Clear Creek Bible College. He loved riding around, listening to music, playing cards, watching Nascar, riding motorcycles, fishing and working with wood. He never met a stranger and loved to help others. He was a good husband, daddy and a true friend.

Survivors Include his Wife, Roxanne Coots Mullins; Daughter, Brittany & Husband Matthew Stinnett; Son, Dustin C. Mullins; Daughter, Christian “Chrissy” Mullins; 4 Grandchildren: Keith, Willow, Briar Rose & Jedidiah; Brother, Jeff Mullins & Wife, Carrie; Brother, Jerry Mullins & Wife, Nicole; Special Friend, Jerry Martin; Two Uncles, an Aunt, a host of cousins and many friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a Nephew, Steven A. Mullins and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, on Monday, June 14th at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Jeremy Pope, Matt Wilson and Justin Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Coots Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Justin Combs, Matt Wilson, Terry Fletcher, Terry Allen, Mark Stathers and Lowell Martin

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dustin Mullins, Kenny Banks & Shawn Ingram
