Fireworks shows set for this weekend
Junction City and Danville-Boyle County will be celebrating the Fourth of July this weekend with fireworks displays.
• Junction City fireworks will be held at dusk on Friday, July 2 at Junction City Park, and will be able to be seen from all over town.
Also, the Junction City Fire Department Auxiliary will be selling soft drinks and other concessions at the park’s pavilion before and during the show.
• Danville-Boyle County fireworks show will be Sunday, July 4 beginning at dusk at Millennium Park.
As a reminder, there are laws in place as to when private citizens can shoot off fireworks within the city limits.
In Danville, individuals may use fireworks on July 3, 4 and 5, only between the hours of 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.
