Community Trust Bank Danville Market President David Maynard was recently recognized by the Kentucky Bankers Association (KBA) for having worked 50 years in the banking industry.

Maynard has worked at Community Trust Bank for more than 22 years. His duties as Market President include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing clients, as well as offering a variety of financial solutions to individuals and businesses including the acceptance of time and demand deposits, providing cash management services to corporate and individual customers; issuing letters of credit; renting safe deposit boxes, and providing electronic banking and funds transfer services.

Through its subsidiaries, Community Trust also offers trust and wealth management services and brokerage services. His office is located in the Community Trust Bank office at 462 West Main Street in downtown Danville, Kentucky.

Maynard graduated from Warfield High School in Warfield, Kentucky. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Berea College and received a banking degree from the University of Kentucky, a commercial banking school degree from Louisiana State University and a commercial banking school degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Maynard is past president of the Rotary Club of Danville; a Paul Harris fellow, past board member of the Boyle County Chamber of Commerce; and past president/board member of the Special Persons Advocacy Network (S.P.A.N.) of Danville. He resides in Danville.
