Regarding the article in The Advocate-Messenger’s weekend edition about a proposed rehabilitation/detox facility on Argyll Woods Drive — one of the residents against this much needed service in our community described this facility and the clients it would serve as an “atrocity.” There is obviously a long way to go in educating people in our community about alcoholism and substance abuse. I pray that woman and her family never have to deal with this particular “atrocity.”
