On behalf of the EDP Workforce Development Committee, and Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce, we want to express appreciation to the Advocate-Messenger for supporting the “Big Job Fair” recently held on July 23 and 24, at Constitution Square. The newspaper’s publicity of this event was key in making it two very successful days for employment seekers, and local employers.
Developing and maintaining a qualified workforce must be a collaborative community effort. As our local newspaper, you helped us mobilize interest, enthusiasm, and commitment toward doing the work necessary to get our community working and growing. Thanks also goes to WHIR, Boyle County Public Library, and all of the employers who participated.
