Cheryl Harmon Ashida

1958 – 2021

Cheryl Harmon Ashida, 62 of Fresno, California passed away after an extended hospital stay. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Ronald H. Ashida of Fresno, CA; her parents, James L. and Charlotte G. Harmon of Danville, KY; and a brother, Bucky (Lizzie) Harmon, one nephew and two nieces, all of Winchester, VA. She loved traveling, reading, and her four dogs, which she adopted from the SPCA. She graduated from Gettysburg High School, Class of 1976. She also attended Eastern Kentucky University. Cheryl worked at MK Medical for 15 years as a manager. One of her main interests was being a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Fresno Chapter, where she served as an officer for two years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the SPCA. Visitation in Kentucky is 11am-2pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.
