Doris Jean Harmon-Jones

1951-2021

Doris Jean Harmon-Jones, 69, of Junction City, died Friday, August 13, 2021 after a brief illness. Born October 19, 1951 in Stanford, she was preceded in death by her parents, John Leslie and Nadine Davis Harmon of Lincoln County.

Doris was loved by her church family, especially the Women of Faith Sunday school class from First Baptist Church of Danville, located on the by-pass. She was a lover of all animals, especially cats, many whom she cared for throughout her life.

Doris is survived by a sister, Martha Jane Harmon of Oneida, KY; a very special second-cousin, William Paul Harmon of Hawaii; her aunt, Judith Applegate and numerous cousins; and special care-givers Teresa Goode and Mark Harris.

Graveside service will be in Bellevue Cemetery at 2 pm, Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Rev. Tim Mathis will officiate. Memorial donations are suggested to First Baptist Church of Danville. The online guestbook and our Hugs from Home program are available at www.stithcares.com.
