Boyle Fire Dept. Meeting
Boyle County Fire Department Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at 6 p.m. at the Boyle County Fire Department Headquarters (1500 Lebanon Road, Danville, KY). During the August Board meeting, the BCFD Board Members elected to conduct monthly meetings on Wednesday nights through December 2021 due to conflicting schedules of some board members.
CASA of the Bluegrass
Annual mum sale
CASA of the Bluegrass is having its annual mum sale, and orders will be taken until Sept. 22. Contributors can expect to be contacted by email or text for pick up Sept. 30 to Oct. 1. As CASA of the Bluegrass continues to support abused and neglected children, purchasing flowers or simply donating only scratches the surface. Inaugural fundraiser and celebration
Heart of Danville
Heart of Danville is hosting its inaugural fundraiser and celebration of great American music and cocktails to help support its efforts to enhance, promote, and preserve Downtown Danville, a national Main Street community. Attendees may spread out a picnic blanket or reserve a table (tables sold out) at historic Constitution Square while listening to an evening of live music by Bourbon Revival and sipping bourbon cocktails from our exclusive bourbon provider, Wilderness Trail Distillery. Danville-Boyle County African American Historical Society
After much consideration, the Danville-Boyle County African American Historical Society has decided to postpone the Soul of Second Street Festival due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Their history center at 108 N. Second Street is continuing to grow, and their new T-shirts will go on sale there over the weekend.
