Due to ongoing construction activities along the U.S. Hwy. 150 corridor, some customers in the vicinity  of the project experienced temporary low pressure conditions. The problem was quickly remedied  by City of Danville personnel and typical operating pressures have been restored. A boil water  advisory is being implemented per typical regulatory protocol. Notification will be provided when  the advisory is lifted.

If you have any questions, please call the Danville Water Treatment Plant at 859-238-1241.

Although NO CONTAMINATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED the city recommends: Bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for three minutes, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
