Halloween-related events in Danville this year looked a little different than people remember. The Danville Boyle County Chamber of Commerce hosted HalloPalooza this year to offer a downtown-centered event that would bring children and families out to Main Street. Downtown Danville did not disappoint with HalloPalooza at Weisiger Plaza on Saturday night. HalloPalooza was full of treats and family fun, despite the weather. Everyone’s costumes looked amazing from Spider-Man to Cat Woman, pumpkins to vampires and dinosaurs. Kids and adults were dressed to the nines, clearly ready to win the costume contest prizes. The competition didn’t stop there, participants also displayed their best dance moves in a Monster Mash dance contest. Between the games, music, and contests there was something to engage everyone.
