Fiona Morgan has joined The Advocate-Messenger as a reporter. She will be covering news, features, and more throughout Boyle County.

She studied journalism and art at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. She was a news editor for the student newspaper, The Asbury Collegian, and loved learning and writing about the community. She enjoys writing local stories, investigative pieces, features and anything else that catches her interest.

“I’m excited to have Fiona join our staff. I know she will do an excellent job covering events in Danville and Boyle County,” said Bluegrass Newsmedia Regional Editor Jeff Moreland. “She brings the ability to tell stories and inform readers about what’s going on in their community. She is an excellent addition to the Advocate-Messenger family.”

Morgan grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and fell in love with Kentucky when attending college. In her free time, she likes to take photos, learn about local history, go on road trips and see new places. She’s always looking for exciting and compelling stories.
