Harold E. Delk, 90, of Danville, KY passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 in Shelbyville, KY. Born on March 16, 1931 in Middleburg, KY to the late Clifton and Clara Wilcher Delk. He is the widower to the late Janice Delk. Harold worked in real estate, and insurance for most of his life. He owned and operated Delk & Associates while having his insurance and broker licenses and was also a master appraiser. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.
Survivors include five children, Vicci Chitwood, Brenda Timperman (Mike), Laura Marcotte, Polly Ogle (Chris) and Harold A. Delk (Kim); one brother, Glenn Delk (Patsy);15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice Delk; and parents, Clifton and Clara Delk; three children, Roger Steven Delk, Ronnie Barrow and Kathy Delk; one brother, C.M. Delk; and three sisters, Maxine Perkins, Ailene Philpot and Kathleen Carman.
A one-day service has been scheduled for Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Vola Brown and Bro. Tom Graef officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Josh Delk, Jeremy Delk, Chris Ogle, Mark Timperman, Shane Lowell and Savannah Lowell.
