The Danville Police Department conducted a narcotics investigation around 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10.

A search warrant was obtained and the investigation took place at 128 Ashley Way in Danville. Upon execution of a search warrant for the residence, Barry Feese, 61, and Kari Carter, 30, both of Danville, were charged.

Each was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st offense (heroin), trafficking in a controlled substance 1st offense (cocaine), and trafficking in a controlled substance 1st offense (methamphetamine).

The investigation is ongoing with further charges pending. Officer Wilson is the investigating officer.

Both were lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center.
