Charlotte Beatrice Ulmer, 68, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021. She was born June 23, 1953 in Parksville (Butchertown section), Kentucky a child of Bettina Mae Anness Cox and the late William (Sam) Cox and was the wife of 49 years to Rhonald Guy Ulmer III. Charlotte was a person of strong faith and was a devote prayer warrior. She enjoyed camping, gardening and animals and spending time with her family. Having been a nurse for 40 years, she cared deeply for her patients and was a Champion for those without a voice, children, animals and the elderly. Survivors in addition to her husband, Rhonald and mother, Bettina Mae Anness Cox are three children, Rhonald (Hannah) Ulmer, Bettina Beatrice Burdette, Katie Jo (John) Grigsby, eight grandchildren, Desiree Nicole Burdette, Michael “Shawn” Catt, Bryson Lane Ulmer-Catt, Abygail Renee, Harley Mae, Christian and Tyler Grigsby, Sarina Owens, a great-grandson, Bentley Burdette, three sisters, Frances (Carl) Leffew, Mary Ann (Tom) Hollon, Jessie (Jim) Huff, two brothers, Warren (Brenda) Cox and James Michael (Christine) Cox, and a special daughter, Susan Owens Passley. In addition to her father, Charlotte was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Rhonald Guy Ulmer, Jr., a daughter, Rhonda Gail Ulmer and six siblings, Virginia Downs, Hayden, William, Henry, Bruce, and Jim Cox. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Charlotte will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with her brother-in-law, Tom Hollon and other family members officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 noon on December 18, 2021. The committal service will be private.
