John Paul (JP) Brantley, 81, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, January 26 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jane Brantley; son Christopher Stewart Brantley, his wife, Lynne, and their daughters, Madeleine and Evelyn of Shanghai, China; daughter Elizabeth Brantley Lau, her husband, Andrew, and their daughter, Aubrey, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; brother Daniel Brantley of Eugene, Oregon; Bonnie Stewart Brantley, mother of Christopher and Elizabeth, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Godchildren Lucy Evces, Charlotte Rodocker and William Rodocker of Danville, KY; 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 8 great-nieces, and 3 great-nephews.
