A narcotics investigation at the Holiday Inn Express in Danville was the site of a narcotics investigation Friday evening.

Shortly before 6 p.m., officers with the Danville Police Department recovered 3 pounds of marijuana, along with approximately $1,400 in cash.

Officers took Randall Thomas and Destiny Hyche, both of Cleveland, Ohio, into custody. Each was charged with trafficking marijuana 8 oz. to less than 5 pounds; possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center.
