A BOLO is out for Avery Spicer, who is a 32-year-old biracial male with a beard, and was last seen near Cattlemen’s Steak House in Danville.

On Monday April 25, Danville Police received a BOLO at approximately 3:45 pm for Spicer.  Spicer’s girlfriend, Kayla Jones, had reported to law enforcement that she had reason to believe Spicer was suicidal. 

Jones spotted her vehicle on Shannon Way off the Danville Bypass just past Cattleman’s Steak House with some of Spicer’s clothing.  Officers were able to view videos from local businesses of Spicer walking towards the pond. 

After an initial search of the surrounding area with the help of Danville Fire and Boyle County Sheriff, which resulted in no contact with Spicer, members of the county rescue team were contacted reference a search of the water. 

As of 9:30 pm, Spicer has not been located and the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office will be filing a missing person’s report.  Rescue and search crews will be back out in the area first thing in the morning to continue search efforts.  Spicer was last seen on video in the area about 3:45 pm wearing a light green reflective shirt and blue jeans.
