Shots fired on Second Street in road rage incident; suspect arrested for wanton endangerment

Danville Police responded to a call of shots fired at the intersection of Second Street and JE Woods involving two vehicles on Thursday at about 2:16 p.m.
Officers located and traffic stopped the suspect vehicle at the intersection of Caldwell and Locust streets, with the help of the Boyle County Sheriff’s Department.
Three individuals were in the vehicle. The suspected shooter/driver is Jason Bell (19 years old). He was arrested and taken into custody without incident.
Officers located a loaded 9mm handgun, and 3 loaded magazines inside the vehicle, and were able to locate 4 spent shell casings at Second Street and JE Woods.
The suspect is charged with 4 counts of Wanton Endangerment First Degree.
