Boyle County Clerk Trille Bottom announced the closure of the Clerk’s Office for renovations.

“The office will be closing at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 and will remain closed until 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 6,” said Bottom. “Anyone who has visited our office knows the configuration of the motor vehicle front line is cramped, with outdated work stations. Covid-19 added additional difficulties as we added Plexiglas to the counter, giving the customer little space to conduct business.”

Bottom added, “We apologize for the inconvenience to our citizens. The outcome will provide a more comfortable working environment for our employees as well as an improved experience for our customers. I apologize for the inconvenience but look forward to serving everyone on June 6.”
