Ella Mae Presley, 92, died June 1, 2022, in Danville. Born August 23, 1929, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Effie Strevels Belcher. She retired from working as a state employee for Kentucky School for the Deaf. Ella was a faithful Christian who spent over seventy-six years as a member of Alum Springs First Church of God. She loved to quilt, enjoyed flowers, and was especially proud of her family. Ella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and “Nano” to many. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Ernest Clinton Presley; sons Donald Stewart Presley and Jerry David (Wanda) Presley; and several brothers and sisters. Ella is survived by her sons, Ernie Joe (the late Sissy) Presley, and Ricky (Beverly) Presley; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Public visitation will be held from 5 – 8 pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Alum Springs First Church of God. Funeral service will be at 11 am, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Alum Springs First Church of God. Rev Keith Willoughby will officiate. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
