The Boyle County Fair started Saturday at the fairgrounds located at 550 North Danville Bypass with some events. The carnival opens Tuesday at 6 p.m. and goes until Saturday night.

The fair is hosting beauty pageants for all ages, as well as contests and events. This includes things like the animal petting zoo, tractor pulling competitions, championship wrestling, and pig racing. Some other exciting events are the pie and pizza eating competitions as well as nightly magic shows performed by Magician Mark Comley.

The fair starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. everyday. Tickets are $12 Tuesday-Wednesday and $15 Thursday-Saturday. The carnival also opens at 6 p.m. daily.
