George “Tom” Thomas Ballard, 70, died July 20, 2022. He was born November 13, 1951 in Harrodsburg, son of the late George Fielding and Betty Jewell Dennis Ballard. Tom graduated from Harrodsburg High School in 1969. He was a member of Southland Christian Church. Tom loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. His perfect day was spending the day with his daughter, being outdoors, going to the farmers market, and having an amazing meal. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Bob Ballard. He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa (Brett Hart) Ballard; son, Kyle Ashcraft; granddaughter, Kylee Ashcraft; and sister, Patricia (Eddie) Ballard Murphy. A Celebration of Life will be 6 pm, Friday, July 28, 2022 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, with a visitation prior from 4 to 6 pm. Everett Priddy will officiate the service.
