Patty Harmon Arnold, 82, of Danville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born in Danville, on February 23, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Marvin “Pete” Harmon and Lucille Yates Harmon. Patty graduated from Danville High School in 1958 and met the love of her life, Walter Clay “Quince” Arnold in June of that same year. Patty and Quince raised their family in Danville where they worked side by side in their Flower Shop and rental property businesses. Patty was passionate about the things she loved most: her family, faith, church community and helping others. She was a dedicated servant to Lexington Avenue Baptist Church in Danville, Kentucky and was a proud leader of the Meals on Wheels program serving those in need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Marvin and Nancy Arnold. Her survivors include her loving husband of 64 years; her children, Ann Clay (Joey) Harris of Danville, KY and Tammye Kelly (Larry) of Leawood, KS; three grandchildren: Loren Harris of Danville, KY, Clayton Kelly of Kansas City, MO, and Hannah Kelly of Overland Park, KS; and one great grandson, Zaidyn Williams of Danville, KY.
