Ricky Clark Richardson, 64, entered his eternal rest on August 2, 2022, in Junction City. Ricky was born on May 24th, 1958, to the late Jimmy Clark and Thelma Jean Clem Richardson. Ricky loved growing tomatoes, dirt track racing, and collecting historic items from Junction City and Boyle County High School. He was regarded as the local historian and sought out for his expansive knowledge. Affectionately known as “Superman”, Ricky enjoyed bringing smiles and conversation in many local venues around Boyle County and the state of Kentucky, especially the Summer Nights Cruise and Friday Night Block party. Boyle County High School was his second home, as he entered its doors in 1972 as a freshman. As of August 31, this year, he would have been there a total of 50 years. Beginning work upon graduation in 1977 as a custodian with a joy to work each day to serve others and have a clean, functional, safe building. He adored all the children and staff over many years. He truly loved ALL things Rebels! Ricky loved his Jesus, family, and Country. Ricky will always leave a footprint on the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. If there ever was a “Superman” Ricky certainly fit the bill. In addition to his parents Ricky was predeceased by his Maternal grandparents, Mack Rue and Nora Bell Clem and his Paternal grandparents, Walter Otis and Delma Alice Richardson. Ricky had a very special admiration for Pappy (Mack Clem). Ricky is survived by his sister, Sheila Lynn Richardson of McMinnville, Tennessee; a brother, Keith Lee (Maggie) Richardson of Russell Springs; a nephew, Jeremy Greene of Columbia, Kentucky; two great nephews; one Aunt Margaret Ann Louderback; and many cousins. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm, Friday, August 12, 2022, and 11 – 1 Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. The funeral service will be 1pm, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Regina Kuchenbrod will officiate. Pallbearers will be Michael Sinkhorn, Jeff Galloway, Todd Coffman, Jeremy Greene, Bruce Coffman, and Mark Wade. Honorary pallbearers will be Archie Coffman III and Donnie Coffman. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. |
